Sokyoku Hill top: Clash Amongst the Calm

". . .Well I wouldn't say that Anju-san" Ryoji spoke crossing the Hill top's bridge.

Ryoji had been strolling around the Soul Society when he sensed Anju nearing the Hill. Lately he was busy with paper work in his office and today seemed like a good chance to take a breather; however, little did he expect to find Anju herself.

" I'm sure there is something for us amongst this place"

As he neared her Ryoji took the liberty to loosen his own hoari as to allow the gentle breeze blowing pink Sakura leaves. Stepping foot off the surface of the bridge Ryoji found himself towering over the smaller Anju, blocking the sun from her view.

Seeing Anju leap away Ryoji was initially puzzled at the sudden motion. Perhaps he had frightened her, unlikely. Things however became clearer as Anju had now removed her hood and a wealth of reiatsu flushed around them kicking up Ryoji's haori and tossing his sapphire blue hair into the air revealing his unusually pale face and a lone eye patch covering his right eye. Spreading his legs apart Ryoji nodded as his hand reached for his sealed Zanpakuto resting at his side. Removing it from his sheath he would begin to speak. . .

"My . . . my I hadn't intended on that of all things but very well since we're oth here and there is no one around. . . What's the harm in a little fun eh Anju-san"

Ryoji would speak as his own reiatsu spiked upon the drawing of his weapon. With a single upward vertical swipe Ryoji would send a rapid burst of concentrated reiatsu hurdling toward the Captain Commander.

Ryoji watched as Anju vanished almost instantly as his atttack veered off into the distance angling up toward the sky above appearing to divide the few clouds around in two. Ryoji had no time to be amazed as he could sense her reappearing directly behinds him with a well aimed punch. With less than a instance to respond Ryoji would bring his sword up flat against the intended attack to absorb the blow; however, this itself was not enough to protect him from the full assault as he found dimself being pushed back a considerable distance, kicking up a trail of dust against the hill top suface.

"That was close . . ."

While he had been on the recieving end on such a powerful opening display of power Ryoji had managed to at least suceed in his true intentions; however, that would have to wait at the moment. Recovering he would vanish in a shunpo just above Anju once again blocking the sun from view only this time it acted as a means to distort the intended pattern of his attack. Swinging his blade down horizontally he would aim to attack her exposed back. Should she be unable to make out the path of his attack he would surely manage to cut deeply into her lower rib cage.

Ryoji was initially shocked to see his attack blocked by an invisible force before him. It was no doubt a shield of some sorts but he had no time to dwell on it as Anju once more vanished before his eyes. Landing in the position just past where Anju had seconds before stood Ryoji turned to see two nearly identical Anjus standing before him before they rushed in appearing on both sides opposite Ryoji. Initially amazed at how much her current attack reminded her of his own abilities Ryoji would use the remainder of his momentum from the attack to leap backwards. should the two Anjus continue on their intended path they would surely collide as Ryoji himself gained distance where he would prepare himself to go on the offensive once more.

Anju and her clone were indeed a fearsome duo. Within an instant they were barreling towards him hand in hand before Anju herself came launching toward him with hat appeared to be a blade from underneath her garments. Ryoji would lost instantly feel the blade stab into his left shoulder breaking through his jacket as blood began to poor. Ignoring the pain he would grasp hold of the blade with his left hand thus attempting to hold Anju in place as his right hand brought up his Zanpakuto. Swinging it down vertically he would attempt to place a deep gash across the small girl's chest hoping to wound her at the cost of his left shoulder which mow bled heavily as the blade pushed in furthur.

As the distance between the two grew as an effect of Anju's latest attack Ryoji found himself being forced back as the blood from his shoulder began to soak his captain's haori left sleeve. Looking down to observe the extent of the damage he could feel the wound was almost deep enough to push through the other side but had managed to knick a bone instead. Removing his bloody garment Ryoji tossed it to the rocky ground as he brought up his right hand up palm open.

"Hado #33. Sokatsui . . . "

As Ryoji's words left his mouth a spark of blue spiritual energy began to crackle in the air around his open palm as a massive wave of spirtiual energy sprang forth directly at Anju at a considerable speed, As the wave of energy lashed out towards its intended target the ground beneath its path bbegan to crumble, carving its mark upon the dusty surface. Should his attack connect Anju would find herself in a difficult situation should she not be able to manuever away in time.

Ryoji observed Anju stoip his level 30 kido with ease. She was small he thought to himsellf, Despite that she was the Head Commander for a reason even for her small stature she was skilled indeed. Ryoji smirked as little Anju expressed her boredome of him alreasy as he would disappear in a quick shunpo before reappearing directly behind her.; however, he wouldn't attack her. He would do something he wouldnt recomend to many others. Ryoji would attempt to grab hold of Anju by her collar and and lift her off the ground. Should she respond in an unfitting manner he would quickly retreat holding his Zanpakuto up block any potential attack. If she didnt attack him as he anticipated she would Ryoji would then proceed to lift her off the ground and lecture her playfully.
