Deep within the third floor of the 2nd Squad's Headquarters lies a dark and dank dungeon. Lit only with torchlight, the metalic faces of the chess pieces untarnished by time.

*After saving Taro from one of the traps on the second floor Lucy made her way upstairs. She got tired of dragging him and threw in on to the middle of what seemed like a chess board. She sat down on top of one of the pawns. She shook her head with disappointment at the 10th seat.*

"Comeon Taro shape up or im gonna have to leave you here."

*After Being Dragged Around by Lucy and Almost Dieing Tatsuya Wasnt even really in the mood for anything But Lucy Proceeded To Throw Him Onto What seemed to be A Giant Chess Board. Tatsuya Sat On the Ground Puzzled completely ignoring Lucy and Asked*

Soon after the two Vizards found themselves in the Chess Room, the low torches flung up with a blazing light, and a weird voice emanted from the pawn Lucy was sitting on.

INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!

The pawn suddenly became animate, drawing the small daggers it had sheathed at both its hips. The shriek of the rock-like blades being drwn would easily be heard, and the pawn attacked Lucy by attempting to stab her with both daggers, stabbing above its head.

At the same time, another pawn stepped forward and drew its daggers, moving itself over to Tatsuya and attempting to run him through as well.

*Hearing the alarm raise Lucy sighed. She had a feeling the room was a trap. She laughed as the stone pawn tried to impale her with the daggers. She shunpo'd off its head causing it to stab itself in the head. She reappeared behind Taro. She made a fist punched the rock pawn heading for Taro. With her strength she easily shattered the rock.*

"Wake up Tatsuya looks like we got alittle action going on here."

*When The Pawns Started Screaching And Charging Tatsuya couldnt Run. He wasnt On his Feet wasnt ready. He Thought he was Going to Get Injured. In a few Seconds The Pawn Shattered and Lucy Was Behind him Telling him to Pay Attention. So Hearing the Words Of His Superior he stands up. And Prepares For Battle*

" One, Two, Three. Tatsuya Style Bala"

*Tatsuya Puts His Hand Above His Face , Pulls It down Revealing His Mask. He Prepares A Bala On his Fists And Fires It into The White Sides Ranks Causing a Wave Of Destruction*

As soon as the female Vizard destroyed the two pawns, the rest of the chess pieces came alive. A resonding cry of INTRUDER! INTRUDER! filled the room as pawn after pawn leapt at the two Vizards, three of them being decimated by Balas. The stronger pieces, like the bishop and knights, were able to deflect the balas and soon would be defending the pawns from further attack. As the pieces moved in to defend their weaker counterparts, a booming voice issued from the white side.

"STOP!"

The white queen stepped forward, moving much more fluidly than the other pieces. As she walked, it became apparent that the chess piece was in fact not a chess piece, but a Shinigami. The appearance of the chess piece slowly dissolved from Daniru, the queen's sword turning into a katana with a black and yellow checkered pattern on the hilt.

"Hello...welcome to my lovely home. I see you've met my pets...now...let me finish the job."

Shunpoing forward, the man targeted the male Vizard with his left elbow, aiming to hit him in the chest and then slam the hilt of his zanpakuto, wielded in his right hand, into the young lad's head.

*Lucy watched as the queen stepped forward. Actually it wasnt a queen but a shinigami. Lucy looked at the captain she knew exactly who she was. The captain of the second squad. He was her replacement when she left the gotei many many years ago. She was presumed dead and her appearance had changed so much there was no way her would know who she was. She watched as he tried to attack her partner. Lucy quickly shunpo'd over and threw two punches. She pulled back on her strength so she would only cancel out the damage.*

"Captain of squad two. Heh never thought id run into you."

*Tatsuya watched in amazement at how the Captain stepped out of the queen. How he could conceal himself so well. Within moments of Him stepping out of his shell, He shunpo'd over towards tatsuya both trying to Hit him With the Hilt of His Zanpakuto and His Elbow. There was No way Tatsuya Could Block Someone at that Speed. Before The Moment he was About To get Hit Lucy Came In and Saved Him. Cancelling out both the Blows. Seeing this as The Opportunity for a Counterstrike raised his hand Towards the captains face and Starts Charging A Cero*

"LUCY MOVE! CERO POINT BLANK. Fire""

*Tatsuya Attempts to Fire a Cero Through The Captains Body*

The torchlight, lightly framing the silver hair on the captain's head, was suddenly snuffed out, fading to a barely alive flame. The only light was the eerieness of the Cero, charging in Tatsuya's palm just inches away from Daniru's face. He had expected the more experienced Vizard to block his strikes, so he now knew that the female was stronger. The torchlight went back to normal, and, smiling at his good fortune, he calmly shunpoed behind the young male vizard, and tossed his sword high into the air.

"Now...young Vizard, you should keep in mind the difference in our speeds...You point blank Cero still had some charging time to deal with."

He smiled again, knowing that he had some knowledge of how the Vizard fought, but it was quite limited. He could tell, however, that the Hollow powers the boy had were very underdeveloped. His sword still in the air, as was part of his release, he spoke.

"Swarm, Senbon Inago"

The sword immediately shattered, bursting into thousands of tiny needles, all of which surounded Daniru.

"The real battle starts now!"

*Seeing that the captain kept targeting her subordinate she shunpo'd over to him and grabbed the collar of his shirt. She shunpo'd again putting some distance between them. She watched as the captain released his shikai. She snapped her fingers and her two guns appeared in air. She grabbed both of them out the air. She took off her hat and threw it onto the black queens head. With her hat no removed all of her suppressed reiatsu flared violently. She looked at Tatsuya spoke.*

"Release your shikai, now. No point in holding back you'll just die."

*She then changed her attention back to the captain and his thousands of needles.*

"Hmm so you like weaker prey... Personally i prefer bigger fish."

*The captain Was Targeting him with all his moves. Lucy had to Save him multiple times today. Lucy Dragged him Behind some pawns And Threw off her hat Making Her reiatsu flare. She then Told Him to Release His Shikai. He raised His fist and Fired a Weaker Bala At the Captain seeing these were his last moments of Hollowfication. His Mask Shattered in the Darkness. He was weaker Now. He Had to Release. He Drew His zanpakuto From His Sheath and Spoke*

"Ensnare Kumo No Shuriken"

*His Zanpakuto Broke Into 28 Shuriken , Held 14 in both Hands And Starts Swinging them Around In the Air. And Walked Out from his Sheltered area*

" Im Ready Lucy. I will support You"
