Ryoji has an introvert personality style. Given his youth and past endeavors he usually keeps to himself and chooses to spend his time buried inside one of his many diverse collections of books; however, there are times in which Ryoji can be very open in terms of talking. These times are limited when Ryoji meditates within his Zanpakuto's inner world or even when his Zanpakuto, Synronhkyou, speaks telepathically to Ryoji himself.

Biography (Pre-Defection):

Born into the Rukongai, Ryoji always exhibited signs of having high spiritual energy. Having been pushed into joining the academy at the age of 9, Ryoji spent three years within the academy until he graduated and continued on to enter the 5th Division. Now the youngest seated officer within the Division at the time Ryoji fought alongside many other Shinigami for many years until he earned the invitation of becoming the 5th Division's Vice-Captain, after an unfortunate accident relieved the former Vice-Captain of this duty.

Ryoji served as the 5th Division's Vice-Captain for nearly two centuries until he earned the recognition of several Captain level Shinigami, after the promotion of another. Ryoji, now a Captain of his own squad, spent the remainder of his time within the Soul Society protecting it as all Shinigami did. There eventually came a day when Ryoji's peaceful time within the Gotei 13 would come to an end, an event known as the Absolute Zero Revolution.

Ryoji, now well off into his career as one of the most powerful individuals within the Soul Society, a Captain, was elected by Central 46 as well as a few others to take part to oversee an experiment designed to replicate the products of two of the most known figures within the history of the Soul Society, Kisuke Urahara and Sosuke Aizen, the Visoreds. This project was to be kept confidential at all times and the penalty for its leaking of information was punishable by death. Ryoji, one of the elected heads of the project, oversaw his teams work on a daily bases, making his availability within his Division wildly scarce. Nearing the completion of the project, Project Absolute Zero was cancelled due to the high amount of risk involved with its procedures.

Ryoji part in the experiment came to an end abruptly as he was tasked with destroying any product related to Absolute Zero. This was something of which Ryoji felt he could not do. Disobeying direct orders Ryoji helped those involved with the project who shared his views escape from the Soul Society. Having nearly been exposed himself Ryoji returned to his duties as Captain for a short while until his part in the rebellion reached light. The evening came in which Ryoji was approached and ordered to submit to immediate execution, something of which he challenged. After a series of chained events Ryoji fought for his freedom escaping a well planned manhunt for him and his comrades, eventually fleeing to exile to Hueco Mundo.


Biography (Post-Defection):

Not much is known as to where and how Ryoji fled from the Soul Society. Being declared Missing and Highly dangerous, Ryoji disappeared for over 100 years. As to where he had fled to within the Soul Society remained unsure of.

Biography (Return to Soul Society):

After many years of self-imposed exile Ryoji, now nearly unrecognizable has returned to the Soul Society. Assuming a completely new appearance, compliments of his time within Hueco Mundo, Ryoji once again began to serve as Captain. Although of another Division, Ryoji has entered the Soul Society with an underlying case involved. Although still loyal to the Soul Society Ryoji has his own plans for setting things right; however, his plans may have to wait as the Soul Society is once more on the verge of collapse.....

Unique Abilities:

Ryoji is a master swordsman and is skilled beyond his years with use of a bladed weapon. As proof of his unrivaled skills with a Katana, Ryoji uses a difficult fighting style referred to as a Reverse-Grip swords stance, a fighting technique in which the user holds the blade in a reverse manner pointed away from the target and running up the length of the user's arm. A difficult technique to master, Ryoji prefers this method as oppose to typical sword techniques, although he has mastered nearly all others.

Bio: Sans was a eager, energetic lad in his youth and desperately wanted to enter the world of a Shinigami. Given his wish he enrolled in the academy eager to learn all there was to being one of the greatest ever to grace the Gotei 13. During a routine patrol his squad was ambushed by an abnormally strong hollow in which saw the slaughter of the three cadets and himself, wounded. Due to the attack he had almost lost his arm yet was saved by the claw of the hollow that was embedded in his skin. Drawing off of his life force it liquefied and entered his bloodstream elevating him above that of normal shinigami. Due to his sudden increase in strength and ability he was able to master a high level kido, 62 Thunders Roar Cannon in a very short time. Though in truth he was only exceptionally skilled at electrical based attacks. With his new found strength he quickly made his way through the academy and was allowed to join squad 3 where he currently resides though he is watched with suspicion as his case is an unique one unseen to the Gotei 13.


Unique abilities: Due to the hollow blood within him he gained a special property, flight. He cannot sustain it for long but by molding his reishi into invisible wings that can get him out of a jam quickly. The spent reishi turns a dusty color similar to his hair and falls around him when the wings are in use giving him the moniker, Dust Angel. He rather refer to himself as a Dust dog.

Biography: Neeba was born into Rukongai, but his parents were killed by raiders in their small village at a young age. He was the sole survivor of his village and was saved from the same fate as everyone else by a female Shinigami named Kiyoshi Anbe, whom he befriended. He would often sneak into Soul Society to train with her. She taught him how to properly use a sword and defend himself. Before ever joining the Gotei 13, his swordsmanship was very polished and far better than many of the current Shinigami. At the academy, he excelled in both swordsmanship and kido and graduated at the top of his class. Neeba never opened up to many of his peers so most people thought him to be arrogant, however when he was around Anbe, he would open up and become a totally different person. His life seemed to be going great, however, one day, Anbe took the lives of three of her comrades and fled into the human world where she was captured and apprehended. As she waited in the Gotei 13 prison, Neeba would often come to talk to her, trying to find out why she had done what she did, but she never responded. Her face was always blank and showed no emotion as she sat in her cell. The time came for her execution and Neeba was to be the executioner. As he put his sword to her neck, he took a deep breathe as he beheaded his only true friend. After the incident, Neeba became more of a loner than he'd ever been. He follows orders to a tee and works well with his comrades, however, he does not place his trust into anyone so quickly.

Unique Abilities: Neeba is a very strong and swift swordsman and strikes with precise accuracy, but aside from being able to wield his sword, his kido is also very profound, being able to use some of the more advanced kido without incantations.
